# NinjaTrader accounts

> Copy NinjaTrader brokerage and prop firm accounts with CopyFlock. No NinjaTrader add-on, and NinjaTrader doesn't need to be running.

CopyFlock doesn't install anything in NinjaTrader. It connects to the account that NinjaTrader trades on, so you keep charting and trading in NinjaTrader exactly as you do today.

Copying runs on our servers. It keeps going if NinjaTrader is closed, updating or crashes.

## Which connection to use

Connect the account where it actually lives:

| Prop firm account on Tradovate | [Tradovate](/connect/tradovate) | Sign in on Tradovate's page with that account's login |
| Prop firm account with a Rithmic login, such as Apex or Bulenox | [Rithmic](/connect/rithmic) | Rithmic username, password and system from your firm |
| Topstep account on TopstepX | [TopstepX](/connect/topstepx) | TopstepX username and a ProjectX API key |

  Not sure which one you have? In NinjaTrader, open the **Connections** menu. If the account uses a Rithmic connection, add it as Rithmic. If you sign in to NinjaTrader or Tradovate with one login, add it as Tradovate.

## What's not supported

* **NinjaTrader simulation accounts** (Sim101 and playback). They only exist inside NinjaTrader, so they can't be copied.
* **Other connections**, such as CQG. Quantower and Volumetrica accounts aren't supported either.

## Stops, targets and ATM strategies

With **Copy stop loss** and **Copy take profit** on, the stop and target from your ATM strategy bracket are copied to followers as regular orders. The ATM strategy itself stays in NinjaTrader.

Watch the [logs](/dashboard/logs) on your first few trades to check that followers handle your bracket style the way you expect.
