# Copy trades across platforms

> Copy from Tradovate to Rithmic, Rithmic to TopstepX, or any other direction, with one lead and followers on different platforms and firms.

A lead and its followers don't need to be on the same platform or at the same firm. CopyFlock copies futures between Tradovate, Rithmic and TopstepX in any direction.

For example, you can trade a Tradovate account and copy it to Apex accounts on Rithmic and a Topstep account on TopstepX, all at the same time.

## Set it up

## Things to know

* **Contract names are handled for you.** Each platform names contract months differently. CopyFlock trades the matching contract on each follower's platform. If you enter symbols yourself, in [symbol mapping](/settings/symbol-mapping) or the [symbol filter](/settings/symbol-filter), use the root such as `MNQ`.
* **Fill prices can differ.** Each follower's order is placed on its own platform after the lead fills, so prices can be slightly different.
* **Each platform has its own requirements.** TopstepX needs a ProjectX API subscription. Rithmic needs your username, password and system.
* **Each firm has its own rules.** Check every firm's rules before copying between them. See [Prop firm rules](/guides/prop-firm-rules).
