The Orders section of a follower’s copy settings controls what gets copied with each trade.
Copy take profit and stop loss
When these are on, followers are protected the same way the lead is. When you move the stop or target on the lead, the follower’s copy moves too.
Keep Copy stop loss on for prop firm accounts, so every follower always carries a stop.
Skip trades without a stop loss or take profit
These are useful if you sometimes forget to add a bracket on the lead. They’re also a good match for the fixed risk sizing methods, which need a stop loss to work out the size.
Reverse trades
Reverse trades makes the follower take the opposite side: it buys when the lead sells and sells when the lead buys. The stop loss and take profit are swapped to match.
Many prop firms don’t allow opposite positions across your accounts. Leave this off for prop firm accounts unless you’re sure it’s allowed. See Prop firm rules.
Position resync
A follower can briefly miss the lead’s trades while it restarts, for example after you change its settings or click Restart, or while its connection drops. If the lead closes a position during that time, the follower’s copy could be left open.
With Position resync on, the follower checks against the lead when it starts and after a lost connection. It closes any copied position that the lead has already closed. With it off, those positions stay open until you close them.
Position resync doesn’t open new positions. A lead trade placed while the follower was offline isn’t copied late.
If you step in on a follower by hand
If you close a follower’s position by hand, it stays closed. The follower joins in again with the lead’s next trade. To flatten a follower completely, use Close all positions.
Random delay
Random delay (max) makes the follower wait a random time, up to the number of milliseconds you set, before each copy. For example, 2000 waits up to 2 seconds. 0 means no delay. The maximum is 60,000 (one minute).
A delay means the follower’s fill price can be further from the lead’s.
